About GEA

Global Education Alliance (GEA) was established in Hong Kong in 2004.

In the last 8 years, with providing professional and comprehensive services and assistances on overseas education consultant, visa guidance an independent processing centre and overseas institutes resources headquarters, our agents networking has spread rapidly nationwide.

In the meantime, GEA remains committed to not only marketing full use of partner school resources, but also developing more partnerships with overseas institutions. Up to present, GEA has established a long-term and stable cooperation with many overseas institutes, which includes UK、USA、Australia、New Zealand、Canada and other European and Southeast Asian countries . GEA has become a renowned educational brand to our business partners in Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau and overseas districts.

Freeman has over 16 years of experience in the overseas education consultancy industry. He founded our business under the name of "Global Education Network" and has since then engaged in overseas education and consultancy and student placements services. In 2009, our business was rebranded as "Global Education Alliance". Over the years, Freeman has led the strategic business development and expansion of GEA.





Ben Chen

Mr.Ben Chen has been working with GEA since 2009, He is responsible for leading the overall sales and marketing and initiating the sales team to achieve the sales target and keep a sustainable YOY growth in the market.

Besides, he is also active on organising and engaging various PR and branding events that keep GEA a leading position in not only in scale of sales outcome , but also in way of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). He has initiated the GEA Annual Partners Conference from 2013, and overseas colleges/schools Partners will be invited to attend and share their most updated information with over 300 GEA associated counselors from all over China. That is regarded as one of most successful Education events in the industry and its definitely a MUST GO industry carnival every year. Additionally he has actively engaged to the Charity event and co-found the RIDE FOR THE CHILDREN charity cycling project since 2014 summer.

Carrie Wei is Chief Operation Officer of GEA. She joined GEA in 2010, bringing a wealth of business leadership experience to the Global Executive Team. Carrie has held senior executive level roles in GEA, specializing in transformations through product innovation and disciplined P&L management.Prior to joining GEA, Carrie had 9-year working experience in the education industry. She is adept at managing the departments in marketing, sales, admissions and at team building as well.

2024

1. GEAs New Zealand and Canada branches grandly opened, further expanding global visibility and influence.

2. The 11th RFC Chaohu Lake Charity Cycling Event was successfully held, with 55 cycling heroes covering 168 kilometers to convey love and warmth.

3. The global student accommodation brand "留洋小窝" was launched.

4. The 11th GEA Global Partners Conference took place in Kunming, the City of Eternal Spring.

1. The 10th RFC held at Qinghai Lake in June,back to the original.

2. The 10th GEA Annual Conference was held in Xiamen in February.

3. GEA’s first Canadian-themed annual event was held in the surfing city of Wanning, leading the way in sending Canada’s strongest voice

1. Eduabroad Alliance (EAA) was officially launched.

2. The 9th Ride For The Children launched in scenic Zhoushan with 63 charity riders, riding 170 kilometres.

1. Awarded Influential Education Group of the Year 2021 by Tencent Education

2. The first #StudyAdmissionSeason series live broadcast event in collaboration with Sina Weibo

4. The 8th Ride For The Children held at Qiandao Lake, supporting the Bookcase Drifting Project and exposing more rural children to a wide world of reading

2020

1. 2020 Online International Education Expo was held in summer and attracted hundreds of students and parents to participate in it.

2. Won the "2020 Technology Innovation Education Brand " award at the 2020 "Echo China" Tencent Education Annual Ceremony. Mr. Freeman Yeung, the Chief Executive Officer, received the Award of "Most Influential People in Education 2020".

3. The 7th Ride for the Children charity cycling, from Yellow Crane Tower to Yueyang Tower. Along the way, you can both experience the local literati and contribute to improving the reading quality of rural children.

2019

1. Release a new generation application data management system - ISSUE “YIXIU”

2. Signed strategic cooperation agreement with Northeast University, ranking 44 in the United States

3. The 7th GET-GEA global partners conference held in Xian.

4. The 6th "ride for the children" charity cycling in Guangxi.

1. The GET-GEA Annual Conference was held in Chongqing in October.

2017

1. The 4th GEA Global Annual Conference was held in Haikou,Hainan.

2. The 4th Ride For The Children charity cycling from Tangkou, Kaiping to Zhaoqing was organized for renovation of Shangen Primary School.

2016

1. Organized Linden International Recruitment Tours in China.

2. We supported the construction of a community cultural center in Tangkou Old Market of Kaiping City, Guangdong Province in 2016.

3. GEA won Hong Kong Star Brand Award 2016 - Innovation & Technology Award.

2015

1. GEA won Hong Kong Star Brand Award 2015 - Enterprise Award - the only educational organization winning the award.

2014

1. In July, GEA “Giving” series launched its first session – “Ride for the Children”. GEA has been spreading love with the power of charity and has a responsibility to seek happiness for students.

2. GEA received the Brand Excellence Award of the ENTERPRISING Hong Kong Awards 2014.

2013

1. GEA won the "Family-Friendly Employer" award as well as the "Hong Kong Star Brand – Small and Medium Enterprises Award".

2. WFOE structure has been successfully established by forming a fully owned subsidiary in Shenzhen and Guangzhou.

#11th RFC:22-25 September 2024

GEA officially launched the Ride For The Children series, with the first stop in Xihai Town, Qinghai Province, where 9 charity riders rode 350km around the Qinghai Lake over 5 days. All proceeds were donated to Sowers Action, a renowned charity in Hong Kong, for the education of children in remote areas.

#10 th RFC:25-30 June 2023

The second stop of Ride For The Children kicked off in Henan Province with 16 charity riders, who rode 240km over 3 days. All proceeds were used for the renovation of the school building at Li Caiyuan Primary School.

#9th RFC:10-13 October 2022

Ride For The Children, the third stop, kicked off in Kaiping, Guangdong, with 43 charity riders, who rode 148km over 3 days. All proceeds were used for the renovation of the Tongkou Old Market Book Centre.

#8th RFC:11-14 November 2021

The fourth stop of Ride For The Children kicked off in Zhaoqing, Guangdong from 14-17 November, with 32 charity riders riding 180km over 4 days. All proceeds were used for the repair of the school building of Zhaoqing Shangen Primary School.

#7th RFC:27-30 November 2020

The fifth stop of Ride For The Children kicked off on 26-28 October at Taihu Lake in Suzhou, with 26 charity riders riding 280km over 2 days.

#6th RFC:22-25 November 2019

Ride For The Children, the sixth stop in Guangxi, saw 35 charity riders ride 160km over 2 days. All proceeds were donated to Kong Ming, a visually impaired student, to support his study abroad expenses and to fulfill his musical dreams.

#5th RFC:26-28 October 2018

Ride For The Children, the seventh stop, kicked off at the Yellow Crane Tower in Wuhan with 49 charity riders, who rode 218km over 2 days. All the money raised was donated to the Stars Youth Development Center to buy STARS Readora Package to open up the reading world of rural children.

#4th RFC:14-17 November 2017

Between the mountains and the water, new friends and old friends met, and the 8th Charity Ride started in the beautiful scenery of Qiandao Lake, with 60 charity riders, riding 170km. This time, with one ride and one pedal, we allowed more book boxes loaded with excellent reading materials to flow in rural schools where reading resources are scarce. When the reading world of rural children is lit up by the starlight of knowledge, the riders dedication and perseverance will have value, which is also the meaning of passing on the spirit of RFC.

#3rd RFC:6-8 August 2016

Every departure, every millimetre of progress, is from start to finish, undaunted and persistent, and unchanged from the beginning, focused and loving. The 9th Ride For The Children started in the beautiful scenery of Zhoushan, with 63 charity riders, riding 170 kilometres. The shining light of fighting for the dreams of rural children illuminates the road ahead. The strength for charity is powerful.

#2nd RFC:26-30 August 2015

With 70 riders for 365 kilometres, we returned to the Qinghai Lake and rode around it. We hope that through the ride, we can provide a reading opportunity to one child after another.

#1st RFC:1-6 July 2014

168 kilometers, 55 brave warriors, in the clear autumn sunlight, traverse the serene lakes and mountains of Chaohu, raising love for rural children and enjoying the novelty and magic brought by freedom and the unknown. Every inch is strength; every step is pure love.
