GEA 13th Ride for the Children | 160 KM for a Greater Purpose

19–20 September 2026 | Pingtan, Fujian, China

On 19–20 September 2026, GEA proudly organized the 13th Ride for the Children (RFC) charity ride in Pingtan, Fujian, China, bringing together 67 passionate cyclists for two meaningful days on the road.
More than just a cycling challenge, RFC brought together friends and colleagues from the international education community, along with caring supporters from different industries, all united by a shared commitment to making a positive difference.
160 KM, Two Days, One Shared Purpose
Over the two-day journey, participants took on approximately 160 kilometres of challenging roads, with the intense heat and demanding climbs putting everyone's determination to the test.

Despite the physical challenges, the group continued to support and encourage one another throughout the ride. Every climb, every kilometre, and every moment on the road became a reminder that meaningful change is often built through collective effort.
Together, all 67 cyclists successfully completed the 160 KM journey.

Riding for a Cause
Since its establishment, Ride for the Children (RFC) has brought people together through healthy, active, and environmentally friendly initiatives while raising awareness and support for communities with greater educational needs.
The initiative focuses on supporting:
Rural education and addressing unequal access to educational resources
Education and development opportunities for children with disabilities
Community and cultural development in under-resourced areas

Through every ride, RFC aims to shine a light on the importance of creating more equal opportunities for children, regardless of where they come from or the challenges they face.
Every Child Deserves a Chance
Education has the power to open doors, inspire possibilities, and give children the confidence to pursue their dreams.
Yet access to quality education and opportunities remains unequal for many children. RFC seeks to contribute, in its own way, to creating a future where more children can receive the support and opportunities they deserve.

Every child deserves the chance to grow, learn, and pursue their dreams.
Through Ride for the Children, GEA hopes to continue bringing together people who care, turning every kilometre ridden into a step towards a more inclusive and hopeful future.
Ride With Us
The 13th RFC may have come to an end, but the journey continues.

We welcome more friends, partners, and supporters to join Ride for the Children in future initiatives — whether on the road or through other ways of supporting education and communities in need.

Together, every ride can make a difference.
